Option 2: Nutrition for Young Athletes
Fuel Like a Hockey Pro (Ages 10–14)
Help young athletes understand how to fuel, focus, and recover like pros—with sessions designed to be fun, hands-on, and packed with real-life takeaways they’ll actually use.
✨ Option 1: Nutrition Session + Athlete Booklet
This is a 1-hour, high-energy session where I come in and deliver an interactive talk with the athletes. I bring a fun slideshow to keep them engaged, and each player receives a 40-plus-page Athlete Nutrition Booklet to take home for their parents.
The booklet is packed with education, tips, and practical strategies on nutrition, sleep, stress management, recovery, and more. It also includes an athlete-friendly meal plan and dozens of simple, age-appropriate recipes they can follow on their own.
During this session, I also show them how to make a homemade electrolyte drink (shaker cups provided!) so they can sip along while learning why electrolytes matter for performance. We play fun games to test their knowledge, do team-bonding activities, and hand out giveaways and prizes to keep things exciting.

✨ Option 2: Hands-On Nutrition + Cooking Experience
(Best hosted in someone’s home or team kitchen space)
This includes everything from Option 1 — plus a full, hands-on cooking session that usually runs about 2 hours. Each player rotates through different stations (in small groups) to make their own smoothie and protein energy balls (four each to take home).
Take-home recipe cards are included so they can recreate everything at home. By the end, each athlete will have enjoyed their own electrolyte drink, smoothie, and protein balls — all made by them! It’s 100% hands-on, interactive, and always a hit with the kids.
